Rostec May Be Granted The Right To Produce Narcotic Substances For Medical Purposes

Rostec, the state owned corporation, may be granted the right to produce narcotic substances for medical purposes. According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade this largely depends on if changes are made to the current law surrounding narcotics. Currently, there is only one company within the Russian Federation that has been granted this right. As a matter of national security it is vital to be able to produce all forms of medication without the interference of countries that may hinder the procurement of essential medicinal properties.
