Flying cars will appear in Russia within 3 years

The first flying car in Russia will be manufactured by 2021. This was stated by the Director of the Foundation for Advanced Studies. The foundation is tasked with informing the country’s leadership on projects that can ensure Russian superiority in defense technology. It will also analyze the risks of any Russian technological backwardness and technological dependence on other powers.

For the development of a vertical takeoff vehicle for passenger and freight traffic it will have an estimated cost of 3 million ruble 52560 dollars in US.

The payload of the developed aircraft is about 500kg. The aircraft will and should be equipped with the possibility of both manual piloting and unmanned control from a ground station.
